Mountains and Sails

Experience the rugged landscape of the Scottish West Coast under square sail and explore remote mountains via trails only accessible by boat. You will be landed by dinghy from your floating base the Lady of Avenel and explore a selection of the most beautiful and wild mountains and landscapes often only accessible by boat.

Trips run with a minimum of 8 and up to 12 persons. Dates are flexible, please check or 2014 and 2015 itinerary of Mountain and Sail slots.

We currently offer trips exploring the Outer Hebrides, Skye or the Orkneys. For 2015 we are planning a program, for Fjord Trail and Sail trips in Norway.

Trails in Scotland we offer:

On the mainland we can arrange for you to walk The Knoydart Peninsular, The Assynt Coastal Walks and many ports, fishing village sand their surrounding coastlines. On the Inner and Outer Hebridean Isles of Harris, Lewis and the Shiants, St Kilda, Skye, Mull, North and South Uist, Benbecula, Eriskay and Mingulay the walking/hiking is just once in a lifetime. The scenery, the ragged sharp twists and turn off the main trails and seascapes are dramatic with the rest bite of white sand beaches, clear water and big skies. Trips are lead by local guides or mountain leaders or self guided.
